Probiotics and gut health
The gut harbors a diverse ecosystem
of microorganisms (known as the gut microbiome), living in a beneficial
symbiotic relationship with our body to support digestion for optimal health
and wellbeing. Consuming probiotics can be a great way to keep this microbial
community in balance, and in turn, keep our guts smiling from ear to ear.
Probiotics are live organisms (e.g. bacteria, fungi, etc.) found in food or supplements that elicit positive health effects when consumed.
